 Hello- Stella had a great first birthday! The kids got her a new bone and a tug of war rope that she just likes to carry around! All is well and she is great. I had a great idea of taking a picture of her in a birthday hat and sending it around but time slipped away as usual. I did want to send you a note to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY. We took her on the 21st to have her spayed. She weights 55lbs I was suprised because she seems so small.  Hope all is well with you. Stella really is a good girl.  Lots of energy specially in the am but we took her to Mollys t-ball practice last Saturday morning and after a few minutes she just layed down at my feet, even with all kinds of kids and other dogs there. The vets assistant could not get over what a well behaved dog she is and what a nice coat she has. She really was impressed and we were very proud! I'll try to make this a rather quick note. I want to thank you both - Casco has been a better dog than I could have ever imagined and it all originated with how he was raised by both of you. From the beginning, he stuck around perfectly without a
leash, which was what I really wanted in a pup. I recently took a banking job in Boston and when the neighbor dogs yap away, it doesn't phase him and he could care less. As of lately at night,  he will crawl into my bed and hardly move until
morning. Often, I'll wake up to find he's sharing my pillow. I absolutely will be back to you guys again to get another lab within the next few years.

He has a great home here in Boston. I work 10-7 but have an hour lunch where I can let him out in the middle of the day and we live along the ocean and he has a stretch of yard that will wash his "waste" away - making it easier on me.

 Hello!

How are you? Glad to see Zack found a home! Tedy is up to 32 pounds and doing very well. I'm sending along a couple fun pictures. One is Tedy and DJ playing in the leaves by our pond. They love eachother so much! We are having a lot of fun with them. Tedy is such a good boy! He has learned to shake and is pretty well pottie trained. He loves to ride and play. We love him to pieces!!! Hope all is well at the Lab Lodge!

Attached are a couple pics of Lady and Duke this past summer enjoying their usual spots on the couch loving the A/C (and I was enjoying mocking them <grin>)... both pups are now 1-1/2 years old, around 80lbs each, and are doing very well... they also are enjoying having our new six-month-old baby boy around trying to get a "kiss" in every chance they get... they are such great dogs.  Again, Merry Christmas...

Tikka

Greetings Deb & Roland,
Marian & I just wanted to let you know how Tikka is doing.  So far she is excellent, one of the best dogs that either of us have had.  In addition to being a great pet, Tikka is turning into a great hunting dog.  She was instinctively pointing (which I didn't know labs could do!) birds at 11 weeks, and hasn't stopped since.  In addition, she is a retrieving machine.  Attached are a few pictures of her from our latest training session.  I hope that you are both doing well, and we want to tell you what a great dog you have bred.  Thanks!

Hello Roland and Debbie!

Just wanted to update you on the black lab we got from you about a year ago. Kael is a little over year now and he's happy and healthy. He's really friendly with other people and other animals, which is great- we just love him. He's about 80 pounds, very energetic, and loves to hike and swim. In fact, he just recently started launching himself off the dock at camp to chase sticks in the water, which is fun to watch. He's great!
